Eloise Richie Grainge’s mother, Sofia Richie, had an easy pregnancy “until it wasn’t.”

1. After spending six days in the hospital

Richie Grainge started the “waiting game” to give birth. At 38 weeks, she had an induction.

“I had a wonderful delivery. The best is Dr. A. There, she resembles a football coach. I thought, “Let’s get this done.” stated Richie Grainge. Meanwhile, Dr. A complimented the model, saying, “She’s amazing.” Notably, this woman never complains. Her experience was quite upsetting. She experienced contractions for six weeks.

Richie Grainge claimed that following her “emotionally draining” birth experience, she “blew up like a balloon” from edema soon after getting home. “I was really sick. When [Dr. A] finally dispatched her amazing nurse, my blood pressure was 165 over 103.

Dr. A diagnosed Richie Grainge with pregnancy-related preeclampsia. Dr. A said, “Your blood pressure goes up, but we don’t know what causes it.” “And when that blood pressure rises, it may happen during pregnancy, it may happen up to six weeks after giving birth, and it can make seizures more likely. It is therefore an extremely risky condition. You risk getting strokes if you give it nothing at all.

2. Dr. A. determined

Richie Grainge had pregnancy-related preeclampsia. According to Dr. A, “Your blood pressure goes up, but we don’t know what causes it.”Additionally, an increase in blood pressure may take place during pregnancy, up to six weeks after giving birth, and increase the risk of seizures. As a result, it is a very dangerous condition. If you don’t give it any ideas, you could get strokes.

She went on, saying, “Yeah, I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to have people help me and to have support, but I also don’t want someone raising my child.” I wouldn’t have become a parent if I weren’t prepared to handle it. My maternal guilt has kept those two things in balance.

Richie Grainge stated that she has reached a stage “where I’m like, ‘I can take care of my daughter by myself and I’m confident in that.'” This was three and a half months after Eloise was born. Elliot Grainge, her spouse, has been enjoying his dual roles as a “girl dad” and a “super dad.”

Earlier that same year, Richie Grainge took to Instagram to announce the birth of the couple’s first child on May 20. August saw Richie Grainge celebrate her 26th birthday with her infant by her side.
